Amy Winehouse - Mitch Amy Winehouse: Blake Is Going To Get Through This

The public eye mainstay, aged 30, was found in bed, choking presumably on his own vomit, by his girlfriend Sarah Aspin last Friday before being rushed to hospital in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, with multiple organ failure. He was later put into an induced coma and on a life support machine in hospital, but now looks to be recovering from the scare. The incident had happened whilst Blake was on a tag, following his arrest for possession of stolen goods and an imitation gun. Mitch Winehouse, father of the late 'Back To Black' singer, had previously Tweeted about the incident by calling on people to pray for Blake. Now, judging by the latest Tweet from Mitch, the prayers have been answered. He took to the micro-blogging site to reveal that "Blake is going to get through this. That's good news." He later added on to his newsfeed: "I am not supporting Blake but I am praying for his recovery."

Blake, a former music video assistant, married Amy in 2007 and they divorced two years later, however they remained friends and even flirted with the idea of a reunion following on from their split. He and girlfriend Aspin have one 15-month daughter together.
