Dannii Minogue - Minogue Felt Like A Failure After Mcmahon Divorce

Australian pop star DANNII MINOGUE felt like a failure following the breakdown of her marriage to actor JULIAN MCMAHON - because it took her so long to realise they were wrong for each other.

The singer wed the Nip/Tuck star in 1994 after they met on the set of Australian soap opera Home and Away.

The pair filed for divorce the following year (95), and Minogue can't understand why she didn't listen to pals who insisted he wasn't a suitable partner.

In an interview with Piers Morgan, she says, "He was a wild guy, he liked having fun, being a bit crazy and goofy and we enjoyed each other's friends. And for me, I thought that's all you want out of a relationship.

"I really wish I could see what some of those other people saw, that, 'This isn't going to work.' I so wish I had a magic ball.

"I don't think there's any one thing. We're very different , but I felt like a failure and I hate that. I thought, 'How could I have not seen it coming, the marriage not working?'

"I felt scared. It wasn't about trusting others... I didn't trust my instincts."
