Minka Kelly - Minka Kelly Rejected Jake Gyllenhaal's Advances

Among Gyllenhaal's previous relationships include fellow 'Spiderman' star Kirsten Dunst who he dated for two years between 2002 and 2004, and also Reese Witherspoon whom he was in a relationship with between 2007 and 2008. However Kelly has proved resistant to the 'Source Code' actor's charms, with a source telling Us Weekly that she "declined" an invitation by him to go on a date last Autumn. There was some solace for the spurned star however, as the rejection reportedly came as Kelly, who is the same age as Gyllenhaal at 31, was at the time trying to patch things up with her then recent ex-boyfriend Derek Jeter.

It was perseverance that paid off for the actress as she began dating the New York Yankees baseball player again in December; previously the couple had been going out from May of 2008 until August of last year. Before that her own love life read fairly distinguishably as well, being involved with musicians John Mayer and actor Chris Evans among others.
