Minka Kelly has appeared in Maroon 5's latest music video.

The 'Friday Night Lights' actress stars as the group's frontman Adam Levine's girlfriend in the clip for their latest single 'One More Night', which sees the singer play a boxer dealing with personal turmoil as he gets ready for a big fight.

The video is shown frequently cutting to Minka's worried frown and she then packs her bags to leave him as he gets into The Ring ready to take on his opponent.

When Adam's alter-ego returns from his bout victorious, he is devastated to discover Minka's character has fled along with their children, and he realises he has lost what is important in life to him.

Off-screen Minka was recently spotted on a string of dates with Jake Gyllenhaal, who initially pursued her late last year.

A source explained: ''Minka wasn't into Jake when he first pursued her.

''[After she split from Wilmer] she decided to give Jake another chance.''
