Mindy Mccready - Mindy Mccready's Son Found Hiding In Her Closet

State officials discovered five year-old Zander and took him into custody, now they're arranging his return to Florida to be with his legal guardian, MCCready's mother and his grandmother Gayle Inge. It's the culmination of a series of events which began when a missing persons report was allegedly filed for Zander after MCCready had visited him late last month in Florida, with the 36 year-old insisting that nothing of the sort had occurred. Sadly however this proved not to be the case. The Washington Post reports that mother Inge was relieved at discovering the whereabouts of her grandson, but found herself conflicted with sympathy for her wayward daughter, saying "I'm real excited that he's safe, but I can't explain what this is like. We feel for Mindy and we feel for Zander. I want to wrap my arms around her and tell her that I love her."

MCCready first came to public prominence on the US Country scene back in 1996 when aged 20 her debut album 'Ten Thousand Angels' went double platinum in the US. However a history of suicide attempts, jail time, self-harm and depression has since taken over her career, this just the latest in what's turning out to be a somewhat depressing tale.
