Mills Climbs Onto Roof To Open Cafe

SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY's ex-wife HEATHER MILLS is going to great heights to promote her new vegan cafe - she scaled its roof to celebrate the grand opening on Saturday (04Jul09).
The animal rights campaigner, who wears a prosthetic leg after losing her limb in a motorcycle accident in 1993, stunned onlookers as she climbed up a ladder to launch her new restaurant, V-Bites, in East Sussex, England.
Mills, who wore a white chef's apron, stood at the very edge of the rooftop without a harness, grasping onto the eaterie's neon sign to keep balanced.
The former model told visitors: "My vision was to create a place for all the community to enjoy. I am very excited about the future and look forward to inviting everybody to Hove Lagoon (Sussex, England) this summer."
Mills came under fire from locals in March (09) after purchasing the popular Big Fish cafe and announcing plans to reform its menu by removing fish.

Hey, Contact Music -- you forgot to mention that she personally bussed in the bulk of her customers for the day, all under the promise of free food (reported by several other media sources)... Oops! She didn't want us to mention this part! She is too much! I love this restaurant idea -- I'm considering this to be my summer entertainment... LOL
