Miley Cyrus Wins At Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards

by | 30 March 2008

The star of Disney's Hannah Montana show, Miley Cyrus, was the big winner at the 21st Annual Kids Choice Awards.

The 15-year-old won favourite TV actress and favourite singer at the awards ceremony where A-list Hollywood stars found themselves covered in green slime.

Harrison Ford, Cameron Diaz and Orlando Bloom were some of the celebrities drenched in the traditional goo.

On accepting her award, Cyrus clearly had other things on her mind: "I don't want to get slimed but I'm glad to be here."

Diaz was presented the Wannabe Award, a prize given to the star who children claim they most look up to.

"Oh wow. And when I say wow, I mean, Wow. This is the biggest honor in my entire life," the actress said on accepting the award.

Other winners included Johnny Depp who was voted favourite actor, Jessica Alba who was favourite actress and American Idol which picked up favourite reality TV show.

The Harry Potter series were declared the children's favourite books.
