Miley Cyrus Lands Tv Role On Two And A Half Men
Miley Cyrus has landed a TV role and will make a cameo on Two And A Half Men, reports Mtv. The singer and actress was rumoured for the appearance, but it has now been confirmed.
Miley "will play Missi, an old family friend of Walden's [Ashton Kutcher] who comes to visit for a week and develops a relationship with Jake [Angus T. Jones] when he comes home from the Army," said a press release from the show's network, Cbs. Her confirmed appearance on Two And A Half Men represents her most mature role yet. The singer, songwriter and actress made her name on the Disney channel, before releasing an album and providing the voice of Penny in the animated film Bolt. Her latest incarnation as Missi is a more adult role, especially considering the sometimes risque themes conveyed on the show.
ANGUS T. JONES was surprised to hear about the Disney star's inclusion, but was equally happy with the impending situation. "Honestly, they don't tell me anything about what the future shows are going to be. But if that's what's going to happen, it will be cool. I've met her a few times before and it would be fun to work with her," he said. When asked about the romantic nuance to Cyrus's cameo, Jones had this to say: "whatever it's going to be, it's going to be interesting." Airdates for the episodes are yet to be announced, but the new season starts September 27th.
