Destiny's Child - Michelle Williams Stepped In To Replace Nick Cannon As Charity Concert Host

Mariah Carey's husband was due to emcee the Clarins Million Meals Concert for Feed at Manhattan's Alice Tully Hall on Wednesday (30May12), but was unable to attend the event.

A representative for Cannon tells the New York Post's gossip column Page Six, "Unfortunately (Cannon) was pulled... for a shoot and due to budgets, production elements and other parties... beyond his control, he was no longer able to participate at the event."

Organisers of the bash, which was raising money for Lauren Bush's Feed charity, contacted singer Williams and they were delighted when she agreed to take Cannon's place.

Bush publicly thanked Williams in a post on her Twitter.com page, writing, "A huge thanks to (Williams) for stepping in tonight to be the host of the Million Meals concert for Feed Projects!"
