The actress and singer MICHELLE NICASTRO, best known for her appearance in the hit movie 'When Harry Met Sally', has died aged 50. She passed away on November 4th 2010 after a 10-year-battle with breast cancer, reports Aol News.
Although primarily an actress, Nicastro also recorded four albums which featured covers from Broadway musicals, and she performed alongside Barry Manilow on the singer's 'Showstoppers' tour. Nicastro went on to regularly appear on stage in a number of notable roles, including 'Eponine' in the first ever Broadway production of the now legendary musical 'Les Miserables'. The actress began to appear in film and television throughout the 1980s and 1990's, and she starred in the Emmy Award winning soap opera 'Santa Barbara' for over two years. She also provided the voice of 'Princess Odette' in 'The Swan Princess' animated movies.
Nicastro is survived by her husband, the producer Steve Stark, as well as her two daughters Callie and Cady.
