Michele Has No Time For Her 'Stupid' Teachers
Actress LEA MICHELE will never pay tribute to her high school drama teachers - insisting they snubbed the former child star because they felt "threatened" by her professional stage experience.
The Glee star was a Broadway regular by the time she was eight years old, appearing in Broadway's Les Miserables and several other huge productions until she returned to school aged 14.
And the star insists her talents and technical training are not down to the dedication of her school's performing arts tutors - branding them "stupid" for ignoring her during classes.
She tells Britain's Marie Claire, "My acting teacher and music teachers didn't really like me and they kind of ignored me.
"I think that they were threatened by the fact that I had worked before. Maybe it made them uncomfortable. I would have loved for them to have taught me but maybe they felt like they couldn't. They just ignored me and didn't really pay attention to me.
"(It made me feel) like they were stupid, that it was pretty silly of them. I'm on a show called Glee right now and I could sing their praises but unfortunately I don't have anything to say."
