Michael Winner To Have Tooth Removed
Moviemaker Michael Winner is preparing to undergo oral surgery after cracking a tooth.
The 76-year-old Death Wish director told his Twitter.com followers of his plight on Monday (20Feb12), revealing he cannot eat food because of the injury, and will have the tooth removed on Tuesday (21Feb12).
In a series of posts, he writes, "Very serious tooth split in half left to right back bit dropping into mouth means i cant eat can only drink tru (through) a straw trying 2 c (to see a) dentist 2day.
"I am in mental anguish and agony. (I) have to wait to 5.15pm 2morrow to have tooth out. its not really painful cos tooth has been root canalled (sic) so has no feeling, gums painful if it moves. i've doubled my normal daily penicilin (sic) antibiotics."
