Lindsay Lohan - Michael Lohan 'Facing Jail'

LINDSAY LOHAN's father MICHAEL is facing a jail sentence over non-payment of child support, according to her mum DINA.

Michael Lohan has allegedly failed to hand out any money over the last six months for his other kids - Ali, Michael Jr. and Dakota.

He has been paid to appear on U.S. television to publicly plead with the Mean Girls star to seek professional help for her reported addiction to prescription drugs - and Dina Lohan is determined to make her ex pay up.

She is planning to file court papers on Monday (02Nov09) to get Michael to pay her what he allegedly owes - and he could end up in prison if he fails to do so.

Dina tells New York Post's gossip column PageSix, "He is six months behind in his child support. On Monday, we will file a violation order, and if he doesn't pay, he'll go to jail. He's getting paid for these shows he's doing talking about Lindsay. He's flying all over the country and not paying for his other three children he's hurting every time he goes on television."

The famous mum also revealed the heartache her family is going through, as Michael continues his public pleas to eldest daughter Lindsay - who is planning a restraining order against her erratic father.

She adds, "He is hurting Lindsay. It breaks my heart. She's like, 'Mommy, when is he ever going to stop?' It is horrific that a father could do this. We are afraid he's spiralling out of control. Ali is scared and will be getting an order of protection. Lindsay is getting an order in California and in New York.

"He's desperate, he's running out of options because none of his children are talking to him. Doors are closing for him, and he's getting a little nervous, which makes us nervous. We're scared. But I believe in karma, and his leash is getting tighter. He just needs to zip his mouth."
