Michael Lohan Denies Lindsay Divorce Link

The couple was officially divorced last year (07) after 22 years of marriage, but Michael wants to re-evaluate the terms on the settlement in a bid to gain more access to the children - Lindsay, Michael Jr., Dakota and Aliana.

But Michael insists he was not encouraged to re-open proceedings by his actress daughter.

In a statement issued to Us magazine, he says, "Lindsay has nothing to do with me opening my divorce case or any other suits that are being filed against Dina.

"Dina uses people, gets what she wants and then turns her back on them or claims the ideas were hers all along. She thinks the law doesn't apply to her or her family since they always get away with things and use Lindsay's name to do it."
