Michael Jackson Mother Missing? Not Anymore, Say Police
Michael Jackson 's mother Katherine is no longer missing, say police in Arizona, according to the Press Association. The 82-year-old is with safe and sound with family members after being officially reported missing on Saturday (July 21, 2012).
Fears had grown for the Jackson family matriarch after her whereabouts become unknown, though sheriff officials say she is with her daughter Rebbie in Arizona. Mrs Jackson's granddaughter Paris issued a frantic plea for help on Twitter over the weekend, saying, "I haven't spoken with her in a week I want her home now". Her lawyer Perry Sanders had also expressed concerns, saying, "First of all, let's hope that this is all just a big misunderstanding and a totally benign situation.Assuming that she did actually leave on doctor's orders, no matter which doctor, it has certainly created an absolutely irregular situation whereby she has been out of contact with her grandchildren". The mystery of Jackson's whereabouts intensified after it was revealed that she was visited by her son's former physician Dr Allan Metzger, who examined her on July 14, 2012, after arriving at her home with someone close to the family. Metzger is not Katherine's primary physician and her regular doctor wasn't aware of the house call. Paris Jackson referenced the visit in a tweet on Sunday, writing, ""the same doctor that testified on behalf of dr murray saying my father was a drug addict (a lie) is caring for my grandmother... just saying".
Dr Conrad Murray, 50, was convicted of involuntary manslaughter for causing Michael Jackson's death in 2009.
