Michael Jackson - Michael Jackson Bedroom Photographs Published
Newly-published photographs of the bedroom where Michael Jackson died in 2009 show the star's bed surrounded by oxygen tanks and mountains of prescription pill bottles.
The pictures, taken inside the superstar's California home after his death from an overdose of anaesthetic, have been released by police as part of an ongoing legal battle between Jackson's mother Katherine and executives at concert promotion company AEG Live.
The snaps show an oxygen tank standing beside Jackson's ornate gold bed, while a messy bedside table is stacked with pill bottles and a large kitchen knife.
Another shot shows a table covered in baby pictures, and Jackson's trademark jackets hanging in a closet.
The images were used in the trial of Jackson's doctor, Conrad Murray, who was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in relation to the star's death, and they have now been released by the Los Angeles Police Department as part of the family's current court battle.
Katherine is suing bosses of AEG Live, the company behind Jackson's doomed London comeback concerts, over claims they are responsible for hiring Murray, who caused the star's death by giving him a powerful surgical drug to help him sleep.
