Michael Douglas - Michael Douglas' Ex-wife Loses Bid For Cut Of Actor's Salary

Michael Douglas' ex-wife Diandra lost her bid to land 50 per cent of the actor's earnings from the Wall Street sequel.
Diandra, who divorced Douglas in 2000, had been seeking a share of the star's pay cheque from his 2010 movie Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.
She claimed their divorce deal entitled her to half her ex-husband's profits from projects he worked on during their marriage, and any possible "spin-offs" of his previous films, including the original 1987 Wall Street.
The case was first heard and dismissed in November (10) after Supreme Court Justice Matthew Cooper ruled New York was not the right jurisdiction to hear the case, as the former couple divorced in California.
Diandra appeared in court again in April (11) to appeal the verdict and continue fighting her case in Manhattan.
However, her bid to overturn the ruling was again rejected on Wednesday (15Jun11), with Cooper insisting she take her case to the west coast.
Michael's lawyer, Marilyn Chinitz, tells the New York Post, "We won."
Diandra and her lawyer Nancy Chemtob have vowed to challenge the decision again.
