Michael Clarke Duncan - Michael Clarke Duncan's Death Won't Receive Coroner Review

The tragic death of Green Mile star, Michael Clarke Duncan, will not be subject to a coroner review, reports The Los Angeles Times. The actor died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre, according to a statement from his publicist, Joy Fehily.
Following a heart attack in July, Clarke Duncan's recent passing represents little complication from the coroner's point of view. His body can now be laid to rest in peace without the ignominy and invasion of a coroners review, as nothing about the death suggested in invasive analysis. The doctor has now signed a death certificate, which brings an end to an often-stressful period for family and friends. His untimely death has brought about a flood of tributes, and his humble beginnings as an actor have touched the hearts of many.
Duncan was ditch digger for a natural gas company in his hometown of Chicago before his broke into Hollywood, and even when he did, it was as a bodyguard to the stars. The actor's imposing physic was deemed perfect to protect the actors. But he was to become an actor in his own right, with an Academy Award nominated performance in The Green Mile, the 1999 prison drama starring Tom Hanks, who had only kind things to say about his former friend and colleague. "I am terribly saddened at the loss of Big Mike. He was the treasure we all discovered on the set of The Green Mile. He was magic. He was a big love of man and his passing leaves us stunned."
