Metallica Call On Bandmates Cousin To Keep Them Healthy
Bass player Robert Trujillo admits he and the other members of Metallica take their health very seriously when they're preparing for extensive tours, and then when they hit the road - because their live show is so energetic.
He explains, "Metallica is a band where, when you go on tour, you train for it. I've had to hire a trainer who has me running cones and doing frills on a football field.
"The magnitude of the work ethic is important to this band. Nobody wants to have to worry about the other person. You get up there and give 100 per cent, no matter how sick you feel or what dramas you have in your life."
