Men In Black 3 Director Barry Sonnenfeld Already Green Lighting Mib4?
Men In Black 3 director Barry Sonnenfeld has so far received many plaudits for his role on the latest instalment to the MIB franchise, and whilst any loose ends may seem to have been tied up, in a recent interview he alluded to the possibility of a fourth instalment being not such an unlikely possibility.
He told Comicbookmovie.com that "I can't really talk about it, but I think everyone will be very satisfied" - referring to the potential fourth instalment of the sci-fi smash hit series. "I think Will Smith already has an idea where we can have a Men in Black 4" he went on to say.
The insightful interview with the website also allowed Sonnenfeld to digress on certain elements of the film, such as the theme of time travel and why he chose to send Will Smith's agent J character back to 1969. So not to reveal any spoilers, this story wont go into much of what the plot holds, however we can tell you that the choice of year does fall down to cultural reasons as well as the problem of racial tension felt during the period. The moon landing, of course, plays a large role in the use of 1969 as the key year in the story.
