Melanie Chisholm Will Keep Split Civil For Daughter
Spice Girls star Melanie Chisholm has vowed to remain close to her ex Thomas Starr for the sake of their daughter's happiness.
The couple parted ways in July (12) after 10 years together and are parents to three-year-old Scarlet.
Despite nursing her own heartache, Chisholm is determined the split won't affect their relationship as parents, insisting the pair will stay friends to protect their daughter.
The Wannabe hitmaker tells Hello! magazine, "Looking after Scarlet is a team effort... It's important to share the same ideas about bringing up a child, and luckily we do."
The singer also credits her daughter with bringing long-awaited stability into her life, adding, "I used to live out of a suitcase before she was born... Now I enjoy the feeling of being settled at home with her."
