Mel Gibson - Mel Gibson's Stepmother Slaps Him With Restraining Order?

The 78 year-old stepmother of actor Mel Gibson, Teddy Joye Hicks Gibson, has filed for a temporary restraining order against the actor and director, claiming he acted like a "wild man" in her presence and represents an imminent physical threat, the Guardian reports.
Teddy was married to Gibson's 93-year-old father, devout Catholic John Hutton Gibson, until he filed divorce papers against her last month citing irreconcilable differences. The application, filed yesterday in a Los Angeles court, claims the Braveheart actor "and/or his sister (Maura Dunne) manipulated her husband into filing the divorce action against Joye". It is still not clear whether Teddy and John are yet divorced or whether papers are still pending to finalise it. This is the latest revelation into the increasingly erratic behaviour of Gibson, who has been accused of violent rants and antiemetic and sexist comments to a variety of differing people.
The previous claim came late last year when screenwriter Joe Eszterhas claimed that Gibson screamed obscenities and anti-Semitic slurs at him and his family, who were staying at the Braveheart actor's home in Costa Rica whilst working on the now abandoned film project about the ancient Jewish hero Judah MACcabee. In 2010 Gibson's ex-partner Oksana Grigorieva accused him of gnashing his teeth against her as their relationship deteriorated and he struggled to find work.
