Mel Gibson Settles Custody Battle With Oksana Grigorieva
Mel Gibson has finally reached a custody settlement with his ex-girlfriend OKSANA GRIGORIEVA after almost a year of legal wrangling.
The Braveheart star split from Grigorieva, the mother of his daughter Lucia, early last year (10) and the ex-couple has been locked in a bitter dispute over the child ever since.
However, on Friday (26Aug11), Los Angeles Superior Court officials confirmed the pair has agreed on a custody settlement over the upbringing of their child. The details of the agreement were not released to the public.
They will meet again on Wednesday (31Aug11) to discuss the financial implications of the settlement.
Gibson was handed a community service sentence and three years probation for attacking the Russian singer/songwriter before their break-up last January (11).
