Mel B To Terrify Contestants On The X Factor 2013?
The former Spice Girls singer, who recently reunited with the other band members for a one-off performance at the Olympics closing ceremony, has been reported by The Sun to have a good chance of landing a returning role in 2013. A source told the publication: 'Mel was our first choice. She was so quick and honest. You can't let everyone down gently or the praise is meaningless. There's a lot of money on the table for her next year.'She certainly became the definition of 'honest' on Saturday night when we saw her brand a talented, albeit slightly nerdy, musician who happened to be a Spice Girls fan as 'irritating' almost reducing the hurt audition goer to tears. It didn't stop there as she told an 82-year-old man that his gentle crooning made her want to 'fall asleep'.
Mel B will definitely have competition if she wants to bring back her cutting comments to next year's show as Sharon Osbourne, who left the competition in 2008, has been sorely missed by her fans according to Twitter where she Tweeted: 'To everyone who tweeted about TheXFactor tonight, thank you - I miss you too! Tell Simon [Cowell] to take me back for season 10. XFactor'. Olympic gold medallist Jessica Ennis has also expressed her feelings that she'd love to judge on the show. On Itv's Daybreak she said: 'It sounds like a brilliant idea. I'm a massive fan of 'X Factor' so we'll see.'
