Mel B misses fish and chips.

The former Spice Girls singer has lived in Los Angeles for eight years and says the thing she misses most about her native UK is her best-loved foods.

Asked what she would like to be sent from the UK, she said: "Oh, obviously fish and chips are great. You can't get decent fish and chips in LA."

Mel - who has children Phoenix, 12, Angel, four, and Madison, four months - also admitted she would consider moving back to Britain, but only if she got a good enough job offer.

The Australian 'x factor' judge said: "I love the UK. If I thought there was a good enough job offer, then of course I'd come back. But, you know, I love the UK, I love visiting - I was born and bred in Leeds. But I've been living in the States for eight years now."

The 'Wannabe' singer credits the success of her marriage to Stephen Belafonte to shared experiences.

She told Britain's Star magazine: "We've been with each other for years, we irritate each other, we laugh together, we cry together. We do everything together."
