Mel B - Mel B And Stephen Belafonte Expecting First Child

Mel B, the British singer and former member of the Spice Girls, is pregnant with her third child and her first with husband Stephen Belafonte, reports the Press Association.The 35-year-old, known to many as 'Scary Spice', has two daughters from her previous relationships with Jimmy Gulzar and the American actor Eddie Murphy. The singer said, "The power of wanting a baby, I think, can sometimes just work to your advantage. I didn't think I would get pregnant that quickly. We wouldn't have planned and waited for four years to have a baby if we weren't really excited about it and ready for it". Mel B added that she had not told her former band-mates about the good news. Earlier this year, Victoria Beckham announced that she and husband David Beckham are expecting their fourth child.

Mel B and Belafonte married on 6th June 2007 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They renewed their vows in a marriage ceremony in Egypt on 8th November 2008. Belafonte most recently produced the 2009 remake of the classic drama movie 'Bad Lieutenant', starring Nicholas Cage and VAL KILMER.
