Megadeth - Megadeth's Mustaine Puts Forward Metal Supergroup Idea

Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine is reaching out to Metallica's James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich with a view to forming the ultimate heavy rock supergroup.
Mustaine reveals he's already spoken to the duo about the idea and they're considering it.
He imagines drummer Ulrich would be on board if his frontman agrees.
The Megadeth star says, "James never said no, but it's still kind of out there in the air. I'm gonna keep hammering on him. It's on my bucket list (of things to do before I die)."
Mustaine reveals Megadeth's David Elefson would be the project's bass player.
The quartet all shared stages on the Big Four dates in Europe earlier this year (11).
