Mccartney's Brits Tribute To Linda

Sir Paul McCartney used his performance at the Brit Awards on Wednesday (20Feb08) night to pay a loving tribute to his late first wife LINDA.
The former Beatle collected the Outstanding Contribution to Music prize at the London ceremony and brought the show to a close with a medley of his hits.
And during the finale performance, MCCartney sensationally snubbed his estranged wife Heather Mills by excluding her from a video montage of his life, which featured numerous images of his beloved Linda, who lost her battle with breast cancer in 1998.
But MCCartney reveals his choice of tracks for the set was also poignant.
He explains, "Live And Let Die is the song that reminds me of Linda. Hey Jude reminds me of John (Lennon, Beatles bandmate)."
MCCartney is currently locked in a bitter divorce battle with former glamour model Mills. The couple has a four-year-old daughter, Beatrice, together.

I was reading about paul mc cartney wanting to find someone like Linda, I am down to earth and caring,I also sing, when I was 4 years old I was already singing their songs of the beatles, I am in my late fourties and I am on the other side of the world. I feel sorry for Sir Paul Mc Cartney, his ex wife really put a dagger in his heart and I know if Linda was still around she would kick her one what she did to paul, Heather wa only after his money not his love and that is so unfair, it is bad enough that Paul lost his love of his life to cancer. What Paul needs is a good trusting loyal friend, I know how he feels, my heart has also been stamped upon in my life experience, Paul my heart is with you there are many people in this world who thinks the world of you, hang in there mate. way to go sir paul!!!!we were just watching your vids on veoh.lovely pic of you and lady linda.congrats on your awards. they are well deserved.it is very sad that beautiful linda could not be with you, however she is smiling down from heaven. proud to see you receive the honor and respect the two of you achieved together, though, she is always with you. It is important that Linda is recognized as the person who loved and inspired the young man into becoming a musical genius.there is a pic of linda and you on what appears to be a backyard porch swing that we have. if it is one of the piccs that mysteriously disappeared, our company will be honored to send it to you.Blessed be.

I just finished watching the Brits. His performances were AMAZING!!! And yes, I was moved by how much attention was given to his career with Wings and his life with Linda. It was so sweet. (By the way, Heather-Paul's adopted daughter with Linda) looks so much like her mother, it's crazy. Just like seeing her is having Linda present in a way. Yet, the same can be said for all her kids.

So sweet, and so appropriate. The Lovely Linda was his soulmate, a partner in his life thru good and bad, and the one love of his life
