Mccartney To Release Book About Linda

Sir Paul McCartney is set to release a coffee table book in honour of his beloved first wife LINDA.

The former Beatle is alleged to have met with London publishers about the project earlier this week (begs21Apr08).

According to reports, MCCartney will "share lots of intimate moments" of his life with the photographer, singer and animal rights activist in the tome, which will be released to mark the 10th anniversary of her death. Linda died in 1998 after losing her battle with breast cancer.

And a close pal of the singer believes the experience will be therapeutic for MCCartney, having finally settled his bitter $48.6 million (GBP24.3 million) divorce from second wife Heather Mills last month (Mar08).

A close pal of the singer says, "Times have been hard for him recently with the divorce from Heather. He's delighted he can focus his mind on something else. He sees this as a special tribute to Linda's memory."

News of the planned book follows the recent opening of an exhibition of Linda's photos at the James Hyman Gallery in London. The display is the first major show of her work in her adopted Britain.

I am absolutely delighted that Paul is writing a book about Linda. She was a fascinating lady, and I am looking forward to seeing the family photos. Good luck with the book Paul, and bring it out soon.Debbie

Obviously there has been no greater love between a man and woman than what Paul and Linda shared. I'm delighted he wants her legacy to go on for the rest of the world to see. I'll be among the first in line to purchase the book when it hits the stores.

Peggy Mill$$$$ more than likely, while married to sir paul, probably cracked him upside the head if Lady Linda was ever mentioned. I saw some of the exhibit, it is beautiful. Sir Paul cannot be faulted for wanting to show the world the works of lovely linda.

I hope this does prove to be a healing experience for Paul. Linda deserves such praise and honor and Paul deserves to focus his attention on the good times in his life, before this whole Mills fiasco.

I will certainly obtain a copy of this book just as soon as it hits the shelves. I can't wait. What a wonderful idea of our Dear Sir Paul, to keep our beautiful Lady Linda's memory going. She will always be remembered for who she was. A real human being who never had to put on airs and graces to get noticed.
