Mccartney: 'I Feel Betrayed'
LATEST: Sir Paul McCartney has hit back at claims he's "abandoned" his estranged wife Heather Mills.
The 64-year-old former beatle was slammed by Mills in the UK press yesterday (05AUG06) for his cold-hearted demeanour since their split in May (06).
She said, "I have never felt more alone in my life. It's like I've been abandoned. I can't pretend it doesn't hurt."
However, a source tells British newspaper the News of the World that MCCartney retorts, "I feel betrayed. All I ever did was love her. But now she wants to hurt me. This is very upsetting for me and my family."
The singer has also reportedly fired off a furious legal letter to Mills warning her to stay clear of his personal possessions after she allegedly sent a nanny into his house to borrow three bottles of cleaning fluid without asking.
