Sir Paul Mccartney - Mccartney Creates Perfume Inspired By Mum
Sir Paul Mccartney's daughter Stella has paid tribute to her beloved mum Linda by creating a perfume in her memory.
L.I.L.Y, to be launched in the New Year (12), stands for Linda I Love You - a nickname given to the late photographer by the Beatles legend.
The fashion designer incorporated lily of the valley - her mum's favourite flower - as well as hints of truffle and oak moss for the new scent.
Perfumer Jacques Cavallier tells Women's Wear Daily, "The truffle was unusual, but I said OK to Stella. I actually told the suppliers we were working with that the extract was for a restaurant! I didn't want to let people know what we were doing."
Linda MCCartney died of breast cancer in 1998.
