Mccartney And Renee Dine In New York

by | 03 September 2007

Sir Paul McCartney and Hollywood actress Renee Zellweger have been spotted sharing a romantic dinner date in New York.

The former Beatle and the Bridget Jones star met at the restaurant of the plush American Hotel in the exclusive Hamptons area, where both stars own mansions.

A source told the Daily Mail: "It's an extremely romantic place to meet for dinner. The dining rooms are very dimly lit, mostly with candlelight.

"Sir Paul and Renee left separately – but they looked like they were enjoying themselves."

At 38, Zellweger is the same age as Sir Paul's eldest daughter Mary with late wife Linda McCartney.

Their romantic tryst comes a week after the pair were spotted chatting at a Tom Petty gig in New York, where Sir Paul was also seen dancing with former supermodel Christie Brinkley.

Sir Paul is said to be living in Hamptons with his estranged wife Heather Mills in a bid to provide a normal life for their daughter Beatrice.
