NCIS star DAVID MCCALLUM is too afraid to go walking in New York's Central Park because he has flashbacks of women attempting to rip his clothes off. The 74-year-old shot to fame as Illya Kuryakin in classic 1960s TV show The Man From U.N.C.L.E. and became a pin up for teenage girls. But the Scottish actor admits there was a downside to his popularity. He tells New York Post gossip column PageSix walking in the park became off limits: "It was a big mistake. Suddenly I was surrounded. They wanted to touch and hold and squeeze. I ended up having to be rescued by the police." But he is convinced his good looks have not faded, adding, "Now I'm an elderly heartthrob!"
