Mayer Dating Actress Marie?

JOHN MAYER is reportedly moving on from his romance with JENNIFER ANISTON - the musician has been linked to a 23-year-old aspiring actress.
Mayer and Aniston ended their on/off relationship last month (Mar09) following months of speculation about the state of their love affair.
And the 31-year-old rocker is now rumoured to have found a new leading lady in part-time cocktail waitress Scheana Marie, who recently landed a small part in the Jonas Brothers upcoming Disney Channel TV show, JONAS.
The pair met in 2008 while Marie was serving drinks at the Beverly Hills cigar club Grand Havana Room.
A source tells People.com, "They've spent time together over the past few months. They're enjoying getting to know each other."
Marie admits knowing Mayer, but has refused to comment on rumours they are a couple, telling the website, "We're friends. He's a great guy. He's funny and sweet."

Dancing In Denver! Budweiser Made In America Explore Colorado's Exciting Music Scene 4285702 News

Budweiser Made in America
Budweiser Made in America

We explore the diverse Denver music scene as Budweiser unveil the latest in their series of documentaries ahead of the fast-approaching Budweiser Made in America festival.

When Jay-Z embarked on his Budweiser Made in America project, the ethos he wanted to represent was simple; bringing together bands and artists of all genres to celebrate the rich variation that has become the US musical community. And where better to enjoy this multi-genre theme than Denver, Colorado, home to the likes of everyone from gentle folk rock crooners The Lumineers to industrial Goth collective Velvet Acid Christ?

If there's one thing to be said about Colorado music, it's that the locals unreservedly adore it. 'The crowds are just so responsive', says Odd Future's Tyler The Creator, who wishes his own hometown in California could be more that way. 'They let all their coolness go and just have fun. That's what sucks about LA and other places; people are too cool to have a good time at shows.'

Maybe this lack of inhibition is what fills the Denver music fans with the desire to get involved; as Jay Blanghi, the owner of gig venue Quixote's True Blue, explained, despite the genre diversity there have always been a lot of 'jam bands' around. Robert Schneider from The Apples In Stereo (and later Elephant 6) admits that his own experiences with rock music in Denver led him to want to join in the fun. 'There was a band called The Fluid; The Fluid were amazing, their songs were catchy, they were so raucous... I just loved them', he gushes. 'The Fluid were probably immediately responsible for us starting The Apples and, along with our other friends, we formed Elephant 6.' As proof of their stubbornly independent style, The Apples co-signed to Elijah Wood's independent label Simian Records alongside the very different Heloise and the Savoir Faire.

There is so much quirkiness in the Colorado sound, the collective enthusiasm for making music coming out in different experimental projects everywhere you look. Take DeVotchKa, for example; they're a multi-instrumental band you'd find hard to pigeonhole. Playing everything from the theremin to the accordian, it's no wonder this band have become a cult favourite and was even selected to score the acclaimed comedy 'Little Miss Sunshine'. Indie band Tennis are another who like to mix things up a bit, having been founded by two people with very different musical visions. They are already releasing their third studio album 'Ritual In Repeat' in September, despite having only formed four years ago.

However, it seems that despite the diversity, Denver does have a favourite style of music. 'Electronic music/bass music is very big out here', DJ duo Two Fresh explain. 'There's at least two or three good shows a week that you'd want to go and see.' Big Gigantic from nearby Boulder, Colorado says their own interest in making electronic music started with Fort Collins native Pretty Lights, who inspired them with his various gigs around the State.

Unfortunately, as of yet it doesn't seem that Denver has made it's mark on the Budweiser Made in America line-up this year, but there's still a lot to look forward to. LA sees Imagine Dragons and John Mayer headlining, with Steve Aoki, Juanes, Afrojack and Kendrick Lamar as support. Also up there are Chicago punk rockers Rise Against, trilby loving Pennsylvanian ZZ Ward, Rita Ora, Chance The Rapper and Californian hip hop collective Cypress Hill. Over in Philadelphia, Kanye West and Kings Of Leon are topping the bill, just above Tiesto, The National and Pharrell Williams. Synthpop New Yorkers Holy Ghost!, Jack Antonoff side project Bleachers, electronic rock band Awolnation and California's The Neighbourhood will also make appearances.

The festival takes place on August 30th - 31st 2014.

Made In Minnesota: Budweiser Made in America Documents The Best City Music Of The States 4280365 News

Budweiser Made in America festival is on its way and, to celebrate, the beer brand unveil a series of music documentaries in different States: this week we explore Minnesota!

Being such a huge part of the world, America has always borne a massively diverse music ethos. In almost every part of the country you can come across a different musical culture and it's with this idea in mind that world famous rap star Jay-Z decided to create Budweiser Made in America festival. It's sole purpose is to bring together a choice selection of both up-and-coming and well-established artists spanning all genres including rock, hip hop, R&B, electronic, punk... the list goes on.

Budweiser are bringing together some of the most influential States of the US in terms of music in a series of documentaries in the run up to Budweiser Made in America festival. Among them are Minnesota. 'Go buy everything from 1984 out of Minneapolis and you'll get a pretty good idea what's happening' is the advice of Replacements bassist Tommy Stinson when it comes to the music scene in his hometown. He formed the band with his brother Bob Stinson in 1979 and subsequently signed to Twin/Tone Records; an independent label that also saw the likes of The Magnolias, riot grrrl band Babes In Toyland and Soul Asylum among its artists.

These were the kind of bands that were held in high esteem for the future aspiring musicians in Minnesota - so much so that later artists spread the vibe elsewhere. Craig Finn from The Hold Steady grew up in Edina near Minneapolis and had huge respect for the kind of sound that came from the city. 'The Replacements were like my team in the same way the Minnesota Twins [baseball team] were', he mused. 'You felt a part of it. You felt a part of Husker Du because they were from this place that you were.'

The fact that Minneapolis is twinned with state capital Saint Paul formed a playful rivalry from the mid-eighties. Bob Mould of Husker Du fondly reminisced on the musical competition admitting: 'With Huskers we definitely felt like we waving the Saint Paul flag. It was very different from the Minneapolis flag.' Alas, the Northside held the prominence of arguably Minnesota's most famous star over Saint Paul's head: Prince. The pioneer of the Minneapolis Sound himself shot to worldwide superstardom in the eighties, with the likes of 'Purple Rain' and 'When Doves Cry' exploding in 1984.

With such a rich music scene developing in just one city, it's easy to imagine just how vibrant the rest of the nation has become and will continue to be. A quick look at what's to come for Budweiser Made in America is solid proof of this. In LA we have Vegas chart-toppers Imagine Dragons and country crooner John Mayer headlining, with the likes of electro-house Californian Steve Aoki and hip hop's current hero Kendrick Lamar following close behind. The broad line-up also includes LA rockers Weezer, world famous rap collective Cypress Hill, British pop princess Rita Ora and local indie duo Capital Cities.

Over in Philadelphia the vibe is just as musically affluent. Headliners are Kanye West and Kings Of Leon with Dutch DJ Tiesto, Brooklyn based The National (who recently released a charming documentary, 'Mistaken For Strangers') and the happiest artist around right now Pharrell Williams as the main support. There's another diverse mix in Philly with artists also including rapper J. Cole, fun. guitarist Jack Antonoff's latest side project Bleachers, Canadian experimental electronic artist Grimes, Michigan's Mayer Hawthorne and 'Harlem Shake' genius Baauer.

There are further line-up announcements coming soon if you're not already excited enough. Ticket prices start from $150 and the the festival is set to hit LA Grand Park in Los Angeles and Ben Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia on August 30th and 31st 2014.

Are You John Mayer's Ex? He Dares You To Write A Song About Him 4229302 News

John Mayer has addressed the news that his ex-girlfriend Katy Perry is planning on writing songs inspired by their relationship. The singer songwriter is usually pretty guarded about his personal life but for some reason felt comfortable talking to a TMZ pap about his famous exes and how some choose to write songs about him.

There was a touch of arrogance to Mayer's words as he opened up on dating fellow pop stars. Confronted by the news that Perry has plans for a John Mayer break-up song in the vein of Taylor Swift's 'Dear John,' Mayer was bolshy.

"I actually want everybody's song to go #1," he said as a self-confessed "third wheel" whilst out with two friends. "I purposely stopped writing hits to give other people a chance to have #1 songs. I just stand to the side." "I have super strength for gang-ups, I'm fine," Mayer replied when asked if he was bothered by the songs his former lovers write about him. "That's what you're supposed to do, man, you're supposed to write songs. You're just not supposed to tell everybody you're doing it." Miaow.

More: John Mayer has major crush on 'Glee' star Lea Michele.

The photographer then told John that "it's scientifically proven that every time your name is in a song, it goes to number one." The singer let out a loud laugh and responded "I've never heard of that but I really should have gotten a car tonight!" Whilst that so-called "scientific" reasoning didn't apply to Taylor's not-number one break-up track, it has been speculated that Mayer fired back in his song 'Paper Dolls.'

In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, Perry discussed her relationship with Mayer and revealed that things aren't frosty between them. "There's no bad blood," she told the magazine. "But I'm sure there will be inspired songs."

Are Katy Perry And Robert Pattinson Dating? Rumour Rises Yet Again After Coachella 4157110 News

Katy Perry and Robert Pattinson could be dating, if their recent appearance at the Coachella Festival is anything to go by. The pair were spotted hanging out in the VIP area of the California bash. An eyewitness told Celebuzz, "They arrived separately 10 minutes apart from one another around 1:30 am. The two met up at the VIP section during Major Lazer's set and shared a friendly hug."

Pattinson and Perry are known to have been close friends for years but every so often it is strongly rumoured that the celeb duo are friendlier than friends. They were seen hanging out together at the H&M Loves Music Party Saturday night (12th April) and snapped together by fans nearby.

The Twilight actor tried to go incognito with an Oakland Raiders cap, grey hoodie sweatshirt and grungy jeans whilst the 'Dark Horse' pop star opted for a leather motorcycle jacket, tie dye print dress and a leather choker. However there was no mistaking Perry with her newly-dyed bright green hairdo so fans quickly assembled around the singer.

The 29 year-old pop diva recently split from her boyfriend, singer-songwriter John Mayer, whilst 27 year-old Rob also had a very public split from his long-term girlfriend and co-star Kristen Stewart last summer. Both have been the centre of a great deal of speculation over who they could be attached to since their respective splits with Perry having most recently been linked to longtime friend and rapper, Diplo.

Meanwhile Rob has been attached to models and actresses including Riley Keough and Dylan Penn. Throughout all the speculation, the pair's names have been enduringly linked and if they keep appearing in public together, the rumours that love is on the cards could be proved true.

Last year a video surfaced of Katy and Rob performing a duet at a drunken karaoke session back in 2008. The singing is terrible as is the duo's "choreography" but the video shows that both can feel comfortable enough to let their hair down in each other's presence.

Katy Perry fuels Diplo romance rumours 4156772 News

Katy Perry and Diplo appeared to be ''more than friends'' at Coachella this weekend.

The 'Roar' hitmaker - who recently split from John Mayer after 18 months of dating - has been pals with the DJ for a long time, but onlookers at the first weekend of the Californian music festival said they looked closer than ever at the Jeremy Scott and Adidas Party on Saturday (12.04.14).

A source said: ''Diplo was hanging out with Katy pretty much the whole night.''

Another source added to RadarOnline.com: ''They've been friends forever. It definitely looked like more than than that! At one point he even had his arms around her.''

The 29-year-old singer reportedly had one female fan thrown out of the party - which she hadn't been invited to - after spending too long with Diplo, whose real name is Thomas Wesley Pentz.

The source added: ''Katy had the girl thrown out! She was yelling and kind of upset about it. The girl didn't have a wristband and was a total sloppy party crasher, but still, it was kind of surprising.''

Katy - who was previously married to Russell Brand - and Diplo were seen together again backstage on Sunday (13.04.14), and left together after watching Lana del Rey perform.

News of a possible new romance for the 'Dark Horse' singer could disappoint Robert Pattinson's friends, as it was previously reported the 'Twilight Saga' hunk's pals were hoping for a relationship between the pair after they were also seen hanging out at Coachella.

News of a possible new romance for the 'Dark Horse' singer could disappoint Robert Pattinson's friends, as it was previously reported the 'Twilight Saga' hunk's pals were hoping for a relationship between the pair after they were also seen hanging out at Coachella.

John Mayer Suing Over Fake Vintage Rolex Watches Sold By Charlie Sheen's Friend 4118074 News

John Mayer is taking legal action after it emerged that what he thought were vintage Rolex watches were fakes in a scam that has affected celebrities all over Hollywood. The singer-songwriter is reportedly suing jewellery dealer Robert Maron, a friend to actor Charlie Sheen, who allegedly supplied the phony timepieces.

John Mayer Is Suing A Fake Watch Dealer After Being Hoodwinked.

Since his first purchase in 2007, Mayer is said to have spent $5 million buying watches for himself and others before he realised the hoax. In 2010, the Grammy-winning star discovered that one of the watches was fake when he sent it to be repaired, but received credit to buy another when he reported his discovery.

Each watch cost between $25,000 and $40,000 and Mayer is believed to have gifted several of the watches to his female friends, including Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Simpson and Minka Kelly. It is not known whether Mayer's most recent girlfriend, Katy Perry, was also a recipient of a fake watch.

Watch Collector Mayer's Confidence In Maron Was Exploited For Millions Of Dollars.

Mayer's confidence in Maron as a dealer and interest in rare watch collecting made him a prime target for the fraud. The vendor is a self-described "watch dealer to the stars" and "media advisor" to his friend, Charlie Sheen, who could have spent far more on the watches than Mayer did.

None of the watches were even nearly worth the price paid for them: in some instances the watches may have been assembled from a range of actual Rolex parts from different models to create a so-called "frankenwatch," according to Forbes. Other watches combined both authentic and replica Rolex watch parts. Mayer is reportedly seeking a minimum refund of $656,000 for seven watches that were found to be counterfeit.

Maron Is A Close Friend And "Media Advisor" To Charlie Sheen.

The complaint, filed on Tuesday in California Superior Court, identifies 54 year-old Maron as a broker and expert on "important" watches who sold items to the singer from 2007 and became Mayer's "close and trusted personal friend." The pair were said to be so close that they spent vacations together and Maron accompanied Mayer on tour, according to THR.

The sum Mayer is seeking represents interest and damages for five causes of action, including fraud, breach of oral contract and negligent misrepresentation.

TMI Robin Thicke! The Celebrities Who Overshare 4096980 News

Kendall Jenner’s cryptic Instagram about ‘mean’ boys got us wondering about whether she was referencing her recent split from One Direction member Harry Styles, or if it was just a general mantra for all girls to remember. Celebrities often slip in snippet views of their lives on their social media, some are hard to decipher like Kendall’s but others are just plain overshare! We love hearing what’s on the mind of the celebs, but come on guys, there are some things that you don't need to tell anyone!

Robin Thicke and Paula Patton may have called it a day, but it can’t have been because their sex life was suffering. Robin once admitted “I like to try to get her into double-digit orgasms as much as possible. It doesn’t happen all the time, but when I’ve got my mojo and my swag, it happens”. Robin must be suffering from a serious case of the Austin Powers at the moment, because that dude’s mojo is definitely missing.

More: Paula Patton attending the Independent Spirit Awards, without Robin Thicke.

Courtney Stodden is a repeat offender when it comes to Twitter overshare. Courtney shared: “Suntanning in the nude while coconut oil drips off of me - Ah, I love Mondays :) hah xxx”. Hmm.

Serial boyfriend John Mayer admitted “I have masturbated myself out of serious problems in my life. The phone doesn’t pick up because I’m masturbating”. We’re surprised he manages so much ‘me‘ time amidst his flurry of girlfriends. We imagine that since his recent split from Katy Perry he’s probably just had his phone disconnected to avoid the constant interruptions.

If you thought Brazilian waxes were just for women, think again. P.Diddy believes that “Men owe it to women to make sure they are well-groomed”, admitting that he waxes his “privates”. Totally TMI, Diddy.  It’s going to take us a while to recover from that revelation.

Celebrities are always talking about how much they value their private lives, but when some of them are willing to share so much information they can’t be too surprised when the press go prying!  Do you enjoy hearing such intimate details or do you think that there are some things better left unspoken?

I Kissed Miley Cyrus, And Didn't Like It: Katy Perry Reveals Why She Pulled Away [Video] 4099470 News

Katy Perry has told of how she didn't exactly invite the level of attention she got from Miley Cyrus during a Bangerz tour concert in Los Angeles. Widely circulated footage from the tour sees Miley jumping off the stage during 'Adore You' and planting a huge kiss on Perry, who is known for her hit 'I Kissed A Girl.'

Katy doesn't look like she's trying to fight off Miley in the video but the pop star has told Australia's Sunrise that all was not as it seemed. "I just walked up to her to give her like a friendly girly kiss, you know, as girls do, and then she like tried to move her head and go deeper and I pulled away," Katy told the hosts, adding "God knows where that tongue has been. We don't know! That tongue is so infamous!"

Miley's controversial Bangerz world tour has earned a lot of publicity its raunchy onstage antics and risqué outfits. The 'We Can't Stop' singer has also gotten into the habit of encouraging her fans to make out with each other during the show. "I don't know if you know this, but tongue is really appreciated at a Miley Cyrus show," the singer encouraged at her LA concert.

The Singer Appeared On 'Sunrise' On A Morning Show Dedicated To Her.

29 year-old Perry touched down in Sydney to promote her upcoming Prismatic world tour, which will land in Australia in November. Whilst there, she was greeted with a dedicated Katy Perry Day on the early morning talkshow where she petted a koala, hosted the weather forecast and answered questions from fans who were lining the streets outside the studios.

The singer is currently being pursued by unconfirmed reports that she has split from her boyfriend, John Mayer. She and the singer-songwriter are said to have called it quits recently with rumours of a non-committal and unreliable Mayer, or worse another woman, circulating in the press. Sunrise hosts Kochie and Samantha were careful not to broach the subject but one young female fan had to know if Katy had a boyfriend.

"If I have a boyfriend?" shrieked Katy, a little too manically, adding "All of my fans are my boyfriend!" She gestured to the koala she was stroking, adding "this is my boyfriend" to which the host laughed "that's a very diplomatic answer, Katy," before the conversation swiftly moved on.
