Veteran actress Maxine Stuart has died at the age of 94.
Stuart, who enjoyed longrunning roles in U.S. Tv shows The Edge of Night and The Young and The Restless, passed away on 6 June (13) at her hoMe in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. She is said to have died from natural causes.
Stuart, who was born in New Jersey, began her acting career with theatre work before moving into Tv in 1950 and scoring roles in dozens of hit shows including The Twilight Zone, NYPD Blue, Perry Mason, The Fugitive, The Partridge Family, Quincy Me, and Peyton Place.
In 1989, she was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy for her turn in The Wonder Years.
