Matthews Thrilled By Goodall Meeting

Conservationist JANE GOODALL rescued rocker DAVE MATTHEWS' Live Earth experience after he had a nightmare onstage. The American rocker performed at the New Jersey leg of Live Earth and had one of his worst shows ever - but all that turned around when he was introduced to one of his heroes. He tells Rolling Stone magazine, "My guitar exploded on the first song, (but) it was overshadowed by the fact that I met Jane Goodall. I'll never forget that as long as I live. "When I think of people that have changed the world - Gandhi, Mandela, Einstein, Mother Teresa - she's in there."
