Matthew Morrison has slammed TV talent shows for being too judgemental.
The 'Glee' actor-and-singer wouldn't consider being a judge on reality competitions such as 'The X Factor' and 'American Idol' because they expose contestants to harsh criticism.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he explained: ''I'm an actor. I'm a singer. I don't believe in judging people because it's bad. I don't like it. I don't like being judged, but I'm in an industry where that's all people do - judge your performances. I wouldn't want to give judgement to anyone.''
The 34-year-old former Broadway star also questions whether artists from reality singing competitions can have long lasting careers in music.
He added: ''A lot of people have come off those shows and had amazing careers like Kelly Clarkson or Carrie Underwood, but everyone's path is different. I'm proud of the journey I've had, starting in the chorus of Broadway and working my way up to where I am now.
''The greatest test is time. A reality star is hot for a second, but the thing is, can they maintain that for a while?''
