Matthew Mcconaughey Wants To Digitally Document His Old Diaries
The Sahara star kept diaries of his rise to fame, but he fears the browning pieces of paper will eventually become too tattered to read.
He tells People magazine, "I write a lot. I have handwritten journals stacked four feet high from over the years. I try to take a week off every year to go through them and transfer them to disk on a computer."
And MCConaughey admits he was recently left beaming with pride after reading an entry he'd written more than 20 years ago.
He says, "Last year it was really cool to open up a diary from 1989 and see I'd written down 10 goals. I'd completely forgotten what they were, and you know what? I had all 10 of them done. One was to make a living acting. Another was to be healthier in mind, spirit and body at 40 than I was at 20."
