Matthew Mcconaughey - Matthew Mcconaughey Marries Camila Alves

After five happy years spent together, Matthew Mcconaughey finally tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend and mother to his two children Camila Alves.

The newlyweds swapped vows with each other last night (Saturday 9th) in an intimate ceremony at their home in Austin, Texas. Only around a dozen close friends and family were on had to watch the pair as they entered into matrimony after all these years of waiting, E! reports.

And there was no worries that anyone would be late to the event either, with all the guests spending the night either in the MCConaughey household or camping out in the several dozen or so two-person luxury tents erected in the back garden, complete with all the homely amenities.

The pair had been especially secretive about the wedding, with no names or details being leaked to anyone outside of the invites. The only two people we can be sure were in attendance alongside the newly wedded pair are their 3-year-old son, Levi, and 2-year-old daughter, Vida.

MCConaughey and Alves, who is a Brazilian model who now designs handbags for Muxo and is also a TV host, met in 2007. The Magic Mike star popped the question on Christmas Day.
