Gillan, known for playing The Doctor's companion Amy Pond, is set to leave the next series of the sci-fi show halfway through its run. Gillan said that she had 'the time of her life' filming the show. However, Smith announced that he has no plans to leave Doctor Who in the foreseeable future.
