Matronic Reduces Fan To Tears
Scissor Sisters star ANA MATRONIC first realised the extent of her fame after reducing a star-struck fan to tears.
The flamboyant singer was stunned when a young Japanese admirer started sobbing after meeting her musical idol.
She says, "The moment I felt most famous was when we were in Japan and I came out of an elevator and a Japanese girl just burst into tears and started bawling in front of me...
"It was amazing. I was really excited. You know you've made it when you've made a Japanese girl cry.
"I hugged her and said: 'I'm just a slobby rocker girl, don't cry on my account'."
