Matisyahu - Matisyahu Loses Out On Movie Part To Justin Timberlake

The 33 year old recently auditioned to play Carey Mulligan's husband in upcoming film Inside Llewyn Davis, which tells the story of a struggling folk musician. However, the King Without a Crown hitmaker failed to win over the Oscar winners and the part went to Cry Me a River singer Timberlake instead.

He tells New York Magazine, "I actually auditioned for the recent Coen brothers movie, and that would have been awesome.

"When I tried out for that, I don't usually drink or smoke, but I had a drink of Scotch and a couple of cigarettes to get my voice all raspy. But Justin Timberlake got the role. Whatever."
