Daisy Lowe is ''quite maternal'' as a person.

The 24-year-old model - who is currently single but previously dated 'Doctor Who' star Matt Smith - loves spending time at her London home and enjoys looking after her friends there.

She said: ''My complete being is the opposite [of skinny]. I am quite maternal, I love to bake, I love all that homely thing.

''My best friend had a bit of a nightmare weekend and I told her to come over. I was like, 'We'll watch 'The Departed', I've got you a bottle of wine and there's a pile of snacks.' ''

Daisy says her house is ''quite girly'' and admits she is obsessively tidy.

She said in an interview with Grazia magazine: ''It is quite girly. I like florals and I like cosy.

''My clothes are arranged like a shop. OCDaisy!''

And the brunette beauty - who posed naked for Playboy in September 2011 - also admitted she ''can't be bothered'' with glamorous underwear.

She said: ''I can't really be bothered with stockings. I am quite a creature of comfort and I like to be snug and cosy.''
