Mary Tamm - Mary Tamm's Husband Died From A Broken Heart

The Doctor Who star lost her long battle with cancer in July (12) and her devoted husband, Marcus Ringrose, passed away just hours after delivering a "stunning" 20-minute eulogy at her memorial two weeks later.

An inquest heard that Ringrose, 59, died of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome which can be triggered by emotional distress, causing a massive disturbance in the heart's rhythm.

Deputy Coroner Dr Shirley Radcliffe recorded a verdict of death by natural causes and said, "The condition can be triggered by stressful and emotional events which undoubtedly Mr. Ringrose had been going through."
