Rocker Chris Martin has a brother who is on a tour of duty with the British Army in Afghanistan.
The Coldplay star, who is married to actress Gwyneth Paltrow, was a vocal critic of former U.S. President George W. Bush and spoke out against the war in Iraq.
Now he's revealed his brother has joined the armed forces and is currently stationed in Afghanistan.
In an interview with Q magazine, Martin says, "I'm trying nowadays to put everything into perspective. My brother is in Afghanistan. Since he joined the army I'm like, 'Well, anything 'disastrous' in a band is not the same as in other spheres so shut the f**k up.'"
