Martin Lawrence Files For Divorce
Comedian Martin Lawrence has filed for divorce to officially end his marriage.
The Bad Boys actor wed Shamicka Lawrence in July, 2010 after 15 years together, but the union didn't last and they announced their separation last Tuesday (24Apr12).
Lawrence lodged legal papers in Los Angeles County Superior Court the following day (25Apr12), citing "irreconcilable differences" for the break-up.
In his divorce petition, obtained by Tmz.com, the funnyman requests joint physical and legal custody of their two kids, Iyanna, 11, and nine-year-old Amara Trinity.
The former couple had a pre-nuptial agreement in place, although details were not available as WENN went to press.
