Amy Winehouse - Mark Ronson, Ella Henderson and Tyler James Attend Amy Winehouse Foundation Bash
Dozens of stars stepped out to support the Amy Winehouse Foundation at a lavish fundraiser held in London's Dorchester hotel last night (20.11.12).
A host of famous faces showed their support for the Amy Winehouse Foundation at its first fundraiser last night (20.11.12).
Some of the late soul singer's closest friends including 'The Voice' finalist Tyler James and music producer Mark Ronson - who worked with Amy on her acclaimed album 'Back to Black' - attended the glittering gala in aid of the charity set up by her father Mitch Winehouse.
Speaking at London's Dorchester hotel last night, her long-time collaborator Mark told BANG Showbiz: ''I'm here to support Mitch and the foundation - the work they're doing. I think it's great, Amy's musical legacy is ensured by the work that she did and hopefully the legacy of the foundation will secure her humanitarian legacy.''
'X Factor' favourites Ella Henderson and James Arthur also attended the event, while Jamie Cullum and Matt Goss took to the stage to perform.
The foundation - set up in memory of the late singer after her untimely death in July 2011 at the age of just 27 - provides support and advice to homeless people as well as a bed throughout the winter.
Mitch confessed the kind-hearted 'Rehab' singer would have been embarrassed at all the fuss surrounding her talent and would have wanted people to concentrate on the Foundation and its charity work.
He said: ''To be honest with you she wasn't a big fan of this sort of thing, because she'd just say, 'Get on with it dad, stop talking and get on with it.' The inspiration [behind the gala] is Amy, because she was such a charitable young lady and a wonderful girl, and we're just merely carrying on the work she was already doing.''
