Marie Osmond - Marie Osmond Lands Daytime Tv Show

The singer is in talks to host a daily series on the Hallmark Channel, taking Martha Stewart's slot after her crafts and cookery show was axed earlier this month (Jan12).

A Hallmark spokesperson says, "While we're still in discussions with Marie, we're extremely excited about the prospect of Marie Osmond joining the Hallmark family. We think she's perfect for our brand."

Osmond's show, to be called Marie, will feature cooking segments and celebrity interviews and is scheduled to debut in September (12).

The Martha Stewart Show will wrap in May (12).
