Marianne Faithfull Lands Radio Show
Singer Marianne Faithfull is set to share her music picks with fans after landing her own radio show in Britain.
The 1960s icon, who dated rocker Mick Jagger, has signed up to host a Sunday afternoon slot on Bbc Radio 6 Music for four weeks from 8 July (12).
Faithfull, who will also open up about her experiences of life in the music industry, says, "I was honoured to be asked to present my own series of programmes for Bbc Radio 6 Music, especially as I can indulge myself by playing some of my most favourite records across a variety of genres including jazz and blues."
