Marc Anthony - Marc Anthony Breaks Silence About Marriage With J-lo

Marc Anthony has denied any rumours that he has ever cheated on Jennifer Lopez following the break-down of their seven year marriage.

Speaking for the first time since their split the singer-songwriter told ABC that there was nothing sinister about the divorce and that the marriage had simply stopped working. “People are trying to peg it on things because it was so shocking. It was like, it must have been something, it wasn't something sensationalistic.”But the 42-year-old is not angry or bitter and wishes his ex-wife all the success in the future “I think anybody will tell you how I supported her, from day one. I'm really, really happy for her.” Adding “We're going to be in each other's lives for many, many, many years, and I'm glad that our friendship is that strong.” The former couple have a twin boy and girl together, Max and Emme, both 3.

The New York native is one of the top selling salsa artists of all time and has won several major awards including two Grammy Awards as well as three LATIN Grammy awards. He has also found time to pursue an acting career and has appeared opposite Denzel Washington in 2004 Man On Fire in which he plays the father who’s daughter is kidnapped in Mexico City.
